Aerosol automotive engine cleaners Carb, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner NCH #8700C, and Engine Degreaser NCH #6200C
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada revealed that the products failed to meet allowable flame projection limits.
The recalled products pose a hazard to consumers because the length of any potential flame resulting from ignition of the product is greater than the acceptable limit established under Canadian law. As a result, there is risk of personal injury or property damage.
Health Canada has not received reports of injuries or incidents to Canadians related to the use of these recalled products.
