Best Friends Yin Yang Necklace Sets
Product description
This recall involves a set of two necklaces that have a silver-coloured metal bead type chain and a lobster-claw clasp.
One of the necklaces has a single, metal pendant with the word "Best" attached to a black, yin metal pendant. The other necklace has the word "Friends" attached to a white, yang metal pendant.
The necklace sets were sold under SKU numbers 42413-5 and 47961-8.
Hazard identified
The necklace sets contain excessive levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Health Canada has not received reports of illness or incidents related to the use of these necklace sets.

Number sold
Approximately 3,823 necklace sets were sold across Canada at Claire's Boutique stores.
Time period sold
The recalled necklace sets were sold from April 2007 to August 2008.
