Hazard identified
It was reported to Transport Canada that Baby Zone in Victoria, B.C. was importing infant restraint systems from the United States that did not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 213.1 – Infant Restraints.

What you should do
Transport Canada cannot comment as to the performance of these restraints in the event of a motor vehicle collision. In addition, the use of these restraints in a motor vehicle would be considered contrary to the provincial highway regulations. The three stroller units that have been sold do not comply with the Canadian standards and therefore are illegal for use in a vehicle in Canada. It is recommended that the owners of these units contact the importer to exchange them for complying units or for in-store credits. Consumer Contact: 1-250-475-1370.
