Product description
Yixinjiaonang is marketed as a sexual enhancement and erectile dysfunction product. This product comes in a green package.
Reason for warning
On May 15, 2006 the New Zealand Ministry of Health issued a press release on Yixinjiaonang because the product is adulterated with tadalafil.
Possible side effects
The adulterant tadalafil (the generic name for Cialis) is a prescription medication which should only be used under medical supervision.
Use of tadalafil may cause serious side effects including disturbances of the visual system, as well as increased heart rate and blood pressure. Tadalafil has been shown to interact with nitrate medications which can result in a significant drop in blood pressure.

No adverse reactions have been reported to Health Canada.
