The affected products are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards, posing safety hazards to users.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these filters.
Number sold
Approximately 84 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from November 2009 to January 2010.
