Issue

The product may be contaminated with Plurabacter gergoviae which presents a microbial hazard. Plurabacter gergoviae poses little medical risk to healthy individuals. Individuals with certain health problems or compromised immune systems are at an increased risk of infection if they use the contaminated product.

As of January 27th 2025, the company has received 48 reports of foul odor in Canada, and 2 reports of irritation or allergic reaction.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Mirrorball shampoo and return the product to the place of purchase with proof of purchase to obtain a refund.
