Product description

This recall involves AirZone and Variflex trampolines that were sold in a variety of colours. Recalled trampolines are between 3.7 and 4.3 metres (12 to 14 feet) wide and can be identified by the following model numbers, which are found on the safety label sewn to the trampoline pad cover.

  • Band trampoline: model number 138635
  • Spring trampoline: model number 137337

Hazard identified

Incorrectly assembled trampolines can allow the top rails and legs to bend or break during normal use, resulting in partial collapse of the trampoline. This poses a fall hazard to consumers.

Bravo has received 247 reports of top rails bending or breaking during normal use, with 4 reports of injuries. In Canada, Bravo is only aware of two reports of bent or broken top rails with no injuries.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these trampolines.

For some tips on using trampolines safely, see Health Canada's Trampoline Tip Sheet.
