Product description

This recall involves 3M™ Corner Bead 61 Adhesive. The product was sold in 470 g aerosol containers and can be identified with UPC 689330181469.

Hazard identified

The recalled product does not meet the requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act with respect to flame projection limit.

Not meeting the requirements related to flame projection may increase the potential that misuse could lead to serious injury or fire.

As of December 3, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Number sold

The company reported that 34,026 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from December 2018 to  November 2020.
