Product description

This recall involves pressure transducers identified with a part number beginning with "3100". "Gems Sensors Inc." and the part number are on a label affixed to the centre of the transducer.

Hazard identified

If the transducer fails, the fire pump controller could fail to activate in the event of a fire.

Neither Gems Sensors Inc. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.

Number sold

Approximately 28,401 units of the affected products were sold across Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from January 2007 to November 2011.
