This recall involves pressure transducers identified with a part number beginning with "3100". "Gems Sensors Inc." and the part number are on a label affixed to the centre of the transducer.
Hazard identified
If the transducer fails, the fire pump controller could fail to activate in the event of a fire.
Neither Gems Sensors Inc. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.
