Product description
This recall involves model year 2009 Trek 7300, Trek 7300WSD, and Trek 7500 bicycles. The model name is printed on the bicycle frame. Printed on the suspension fork are the words "Bontrager SPA".
Hazard identified
The recalled bicycle's suspension fork can lose alignment with the handlebar, causing the front wheel to turn unexpectedly. This can cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle and crash.
Trek Bicycle Corporation has received four reports of misaligned forks, with no reports of injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these bicycles.
Number sold
Approximately 762 of the recalled products were sold at Trek bicycle dealers across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from August 2008 through April 2009.
Place of origin
The suspension forks were manufactured in Taiwan.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles, and contact their dealer to receive further instructions and to arrange for a free repair.
