Product description

This recall involves model year 2008 Cannondale Adventure 2, Adventure 3, Adventure 2 Feminine, and Adventure 3 Feminine bicycles. The model name is printed on the bicycle frame. Printed on the suspension fork are the words "Cannondale AT35 adventure trail".

2008 Adventure 2 and 3 bicycles equipped with the Rock Shox I-ride fork are not included in this recall.

Hazard identified

The recalled bicycle's suspension fork can lose alignment with the handlebar, causing the front wheel to turn unexpectedly. This can cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle and crash.

Neither Cannondale Bicycle Corporation nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries to related to the use of these bicycles.

Number sold

Approximately 43 of the recalled products were sold by Cannondale bicycle dealers across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from February 2009 to April 2009.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
