Product description
This recall involves 105W compact fluorescent bulbs by eShopic Inc.
The affected bulbs have a white spiral fluorescent tube bulb with a white plastic holder marked with '105W 5500K'. The retail price of the bulbs is approximately $25.00.
Hazard identified
The affected products have not been tested to determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety and may pose a safety hazard.
Neither eShopic Inc. (USA) nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 119 units of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from July 2010 and May 2011.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
